About Me

Justine: Just;upright;fair

I would love to live up to my name. Really, I am just one.

One woman, one follower of Christ, one college graduate, and one dreamer.

Thankfully, I am a part of ONE church – ONE mission, serving ONE God, wherever that may be. Currently, that location is Nairobi, Kenya.

I like: good conversations, chai, coffee, singing loudly, reading, writing about what I see, learning language and culture, crafty things, intercultural communication, prayer, international justice mission.

I want: to use my voice to amplify another’s.

You are one daughter, one grand-daughter, one sister. God loaned you to us for 21 years and you have been a constant source of joy for us, now it is time for HIM to take you back to do HIS work. We love you and you will always be in our thoughts and prayers.

    Hi Justine!
Just returned from Nairobi and I am still trying to catch up on my sleep! Can’t wait to get through this jet-lag. When I saw the snow and bare trees here in Chicago, I was already to return to Nairobi and Joska. We had such a wonderful time with the students at camp. I am hoping and praying God brings me back next year! I already miss the children soooo much! Just wanted to give you a shout out and let you know I am praying for you, Mary and Wallace. Much love from the cold country!
    xxxooo,
    Lori Vaughan

Justine, I was just at missions of hope with central christian church and wanted to say how much I loved my time there! It was a blessing to me see how these kids are being taught the Word of God and to see their faith. It was awesome! I was wondering if you could help out. When I was there, I was looking for an authentic Kenyan handbag made of sisal fibers with some bead work/leather. I didn’t find one. Do you know of any way I could find one? Thanks for your help! And if God calls, I will be back again. Once again, thank you so much for your hospitality! I felt very welcome by everyone!
